Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the ear syringing service has been suspended for some time to ensure we prioritise services that cannot be carried out elsewhere such as blood tests, vaccinations, dressings and cervical screening etc. The reason we needed to cease ear syringing is that our appointment times are now longer for all these areas as clinicians need to change PPE after each patient and perform a more rigorous cleaning routine after each patient in an attempt to keep everybody as safe as possible. There are private services available from Hearing Care Centre who run clinics here at the surgery.
