Paramedic
James Keightley (m) Pronoun He/Him
Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Paramedic)
I emphasize the importance of the holistic management of patients. I also have special interests in Palliative, Austere/Remote, Festival, Concert and Motor Racing Medicine and Urgent Emergency Care. I still work once a month responding to 999 calls for the Ambulance Service.
In my spare time I enjoy making Sloe Gin and walking Dixon the Cocker-Spaniel.
Darren Halford
After 16 years on frontline A&E ambulances, Darren moved into General Practice at Leiston for 4 years. Post pandemic, it felt time to take a break and tweak the work-life balance but he couldn't quite stop for good. He's now semi-retired and usually covers here at the surgery on Thursdays & helps out with little extra where needed. He also works supporting a community wellbeing group in Saxmundham & enjoys casual event work.
